Spring Break Part 1

Hi Friends –

I am SO BEHIND on my blogging! It’s been a crazy world for the Elders. I’ll start wtih updating you on our spring break….oh the joys of being a teacher….

We spent the first weekend of SB in Austin!! We got in Friday night just as the Baylor Bears beat Texas in the Big 12 tourney (go bears!) – we went straight to Matts el Rancho, our fave! It was a yummy dinner with fun Austin friends. Saturday morning we woke up and it was cold and gross outside but we had fun anyway sleeping in, drinking coffee, and just visiting with some of our favorite friends Catherine and Willie. We even played a few rounds of Scattegories. We were getting a little bit of cabin fever so we went out to the Rodeo a little early. It was fun for me because I got to see all my old co-workers! It was fun to be there and get to see everyone, I miss my Rodeo Austin family. However, I had a really hard time sitting still during the rodeo. I was NOT used to that. It was overall really great to be back but it made me miss the energy and challenge of working at Rodeo Austin. Sunday we were able to go to Lake Hills and then our old after church lunch spot, Maudies! We spent the day/night hanging out with David and E-Beth (Stephen’s sister and her hubby!)! We had fun relaxing, visiting, dinner and a movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Monday morning Stephen went home to Midland and I stayed until Tuesday. quick recap: got to see my precious friend Allie’s new house and more importantly met her sweet baby Sophia!! Ate lunch downtown w/ Cat and Willie, walked town lake, went for sno cones, went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, ate Pei Wei, had a fabulous lunch with one of my best friends ever, Scarlett and had so much fun catching up. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful hosts!!!!

Stay tuned tomorrow for part 2 of our Spring Break!

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
