Mary Helen comes to Midland!!

This past weekend, my youngest sister MH, came to visit us in Midland!!  We get so super excited to have visitors and she was a very special one!  She was the last member of the Trippet family to come check out our pad in the Tall City.  She flew in on Friday afternoon, and we came to the house for a quick tour and change then it was off to our favorite spot, Luigis, for dinner!  This is a staple place to take family – and I think MH loved it!  We met some good friends, the Bledsoes, Bishops, and Jordan & Weston for dinner!  It was great to see Abby since she had her baby, Mallory, and catch up with her and everyone!!  After dinner, we decided to brave Hemingway’s, but it was too crowded so we settled for the patio at Sedona.  It was fun conversation with friends!

Saturday we slept in, watched a movie on TV, and headed out to see the shopping in Midland!  We made a quick stop by Julian Gold and the Boutique and then picked up Stephen for lunch at Michaels.  Yummy – after a tour of “Old Midland” homes, we met Sommer and Jordan at the nail place for a pedicure.  We got the same color, as always, It’s Hot! Pink – it’s so fun!  After the pedi, we ran to Target, TCBY and Hobby Lobby!  We had to come home to get ready for dinner and Summer Mummers….
We ate dinner Saturday night at Cancun grill (so yummy!) and made it to Summer Mummers afterwards.  We had so much fun and took so many cute pics!!  The popcorn was ALL over the place.  Mary Helen was still finding it in her purse today….Shannon and Curtis and her parents were sitting right behind us which made it even more fun.  We were throwing popcorn all over the place.  For you non-Midlanders, Mummers is a melodrama where you cheer for the hero, boo the villain, and throw popcorn at anyone and everyone.  It is so much fun!!
We went to church today and I was so glad Patrick was back!  All the sermons have been good – but I missed Patrick’s teaching.  He is so honest and I love it.  The worship music today was spectacular.  We sang this new song again this week called “Glory to God” by Fee – and I LOVED it.  After church, we went to lunch with the Zachry’s at Wall Street and then took MH back to the airport.  It was a very eventful and successful weekend in Midland!  WE LOVE YOU MH!!!!

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!
