this past week fotolanthropy was at our home.
following us around, interviewing us, photographing us.
all in pursuit of telling our adoption story.
my good friend Katie (bottom right) started this non profit in hopes to use her god given gift (photography + storytelling) for good! to tell peoples inspirational stories and to give them something they can cherish forever; photographs & film of their family. she added film to the mix and they have told some pretty amazing stories. (this one) really gets me.
anyway. it was an amazing two days.
emotionally draining but toally energizing at the same time.
hard to go through the past 2 years of our adoption story, but amazing to look at where God has brought us.
it still doesn’t feel like real life.
but I CANNOT wait for you to see the film.
having them here, and seeing how this idea Katie had has BLOWN UP and how many people they have encouraged all over the country, inspired me.
it made me remember how much I love telling & hearing peoples stories.
and reminded me of the beautiful story God is writing for us. it reminded me where we came from & how much He’s done. and it encouraged me to encourage others in their journeys.
so, once again I’m dreaming.
i’m dreaming and praying and hoping that God can continue to use this little voice & story of mine.
and i’m feeling like this little blog is about to see some changes.
and I love that when we pray pray pray and dream about something that is of HIM, that He gives us little reminders along the way that we are doing what He wants. and peace.
budget has been a little tight lately, but this morning I made just enough in our garage sale to have my blog re-designed!
2013 is going to be a great year.
now if I could only catch you up from our trip to Addis & back….
