What our April looks like

It’s that time of the month again.  Seriously, I love Cass for making do this every month.  It’s going to be awesome to look back at the year in pics.  Here’s a glimpse into our late March/most of April! Enjoy 🙂  once you’ve read my post go visit http://colibriphoto.com/blog/

our easter weekend was amazing. secret church, served lunch to the homeless downtown, first holiday as just our little family of 4 at home in Midland.  I blogged about it here.

the kids & I went out to one of our local foster care agencies/homes to take pictures for their big fundraiser and Asher had a real life west Texas dirt devil land ON TOP of her.  poor thing freaked her out!  she had dirt everywhere for days.

we had a fun Noonday Collection trunk show for my good friend Kendra House + her hubby Tanner who are adopting from Ethiopia.  check out their blog here: http://ahousewithoutborders.blogspot.com/

lots of fundraising for our Man Up Mission trip in june.  we had a designer sale, mini sessions + garage sale all in the same weekend!!

all that work deserved a good ole fashioned date night.  when we are in town, we try to snag time away on Friday nights for a little dinner + usually browsing barnes and noble or having coffee. it’s such a treasured time with me & my man!

we also had our first fun lunch out to a real restaurant in Midland with these two and a few friends.  friday lunch date!

I sort of chose to forget when this happened, but yall met just say that sometimes waiting in doctors offices for 2+ hours with babies during nap time alone in a small confined place is NOT FUN.  #thisisreallife

we had a super fun family weekend get away to the hill country!  celebrated birthdays, ate lots of yummy food, lounged in our pjs all weekend + just had lots of laughs and good friend time!

and then it was my birthday!!  we had a fun family weekend – started with breakfast and singing with my little family & then my MIL treated me to a mani/pedi and massage!  my hubby treated me to an altrd state gift card (and shopping with the bestie!), amazing traditional ethiopian lunch & coffee at our ethiopian parents house, a fun date night dinner out just the two of us, fro yo with the kids + a new kitchen table!  it was a pretty successful weekend and I felt SO loved!  [and because I was on a media fast I have practically no pictures]

and then a little april birthday girls dinner to wind it all up!

and no onto the weekly pics!  Looks like I missed 1 week this round….

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
