Gloriously Ruined [our adoption story] by Fotolanthropy.

Katie, founder of Fotolanthropy + Fotostrap, is my good friend from our college days at Baylor.  We reconnected a few years ago when we both had recently started our photography businesses.  We traveled to conferences, spent many hours on the phone/email/text and just walked those days together.  Katie was way more experienced than me, and I had a lot to learn from her.  I remember so well being at a photography conference in San Antonio with her and dreaming big.  Talking about what we wanted to use this precious gift for, and how we could bless people.  My heart was already in taking images and telling stories on mission trips, and Katie dreamed about telling inspiring stories as well.  Her passion for Fotostrap [although, it didn’t have that name yet!] started that weekend too.  Fast forward 2+ years….and our Fotolanthropy story is HERE!  This is NOTHING that I would have ever dreamed of!  It has been an absolute honor to be a part of Fotolanthropy and have Katie & her team be there for the most precious moments of becoming parents.  My good friend Alison, a Fotolanthropy crew member, was living in Rwanda at the time and had the opportunity to fly over to be there the moment we met Camp + Asher and I absolutely cannot image not having her there.  Those images grow more and more special to me as the days go by.  Everything from being at the airport when we arrived home to an amazing celebration, to being in our home for 2 days really capturing what those first weeks were like, has been amazing.

I hope this film inspires you, I hope it encourages you, and I hope it challenges you.

Saying YES to God is NOT always easy, but it is always worth it.  His plans are better than we could have EVER imagined, and that story is for you too!

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends

Needless to say, I bawled throughout your entire video. What an incredibly beautiful story. So thankful for your transparency in your journey. I’ve been married for about 7 months and even while we were dating my husband and I both separately felt that the Lord was placing a desire to adopt in our hearts. One day, far ahead, if this ends up being a path we go down I know I’ll be thankful for your blog as reference. I don’t know what the future holds, but I know that God is so good! Thank you again for sharing this bit of God’s faithfulness with us!
