bringing back snail mail.

so you probably know my friend Beth.  She started Give1save1 [and has now passed it along!], she adopted the adorable Jude, and now her and her family traded big city life for the farm.  anyway, she has a heart of gold and she sent an email out recently about an idea she had.  to bring back snail mail + do some secret blessing.  you can read about it here.

she says this, “every two weeks i’m going to be sending snail mail to someone. most of the time it’ll be someone i don’t know. a mom, a friend, a sister, someone who needs a little pick-me-up. you’ll email me to nominate her (b.cupitt(at)yahoo(dot)com). if all goes as planned she’ll receive an outpouring of snail mail from around the country and world. there are no rules at all. you can send her a letter, something from your kitchen, a gift card, a photo, anything! my personal goal is to use this as a creative outlet for myself as well. to create something beautiful to brighten someone’s day.”

secret mail

So I’ve had her email sitting in my inbox, and this week while my kiddies were at “school” I decided I needed to get outta the house and browse Target to see if anything inspired me.  I was praying for this sweet sister, and as I did God just started revealing things to me that would bless her.  I love how He cares so deeply about all of his children 🙂

Pretty girly notes:

To serve as a reminder that GOD is writing your story.  He always has, and always is.

I got her chapstick:

I told her that even when we are burned and and broken, God can heal us.  He can get into those broken cracks and totally restore us.

Pot Holder:
It’s GOD who’s holding you together.  He’s holding you, He’s carrying you, He’s got you!

Yall, I think this project so far has blessed me more than it will bless her.  I couldn’t believe how easy God made it when I went out looking for a creative way to bless someone I didn’t even know.  Which has me thinking, how can I be praying for my family? those closest to me?  how can I bless them?  pray for them?  encourage them + give them a little pick me up?

just my thought for the day.

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
