yes, I’m still here.

oh, hi friends!  I am indeed still alive.  and I have missed yall!  It has been such a nice break from the computer, social media, blogging, and working the past few weeks.  That is exactly what I wanted for the end of the holiday season, and it has just sorta continued on until now.  I am one of those crazies that has to have everything cleaned out, organized, and put up in my home before I can get back to work – and what better time to do that then the new year?!  So, I am proud to say – I finally feel “caught up” at home and am ready to get back to “work”.  It’s been a strange mix of emotions – I have missed this space, and all my relationships online, but I have been extremely grateful for more connected time with my family and community right here in Midland.  It’s been a nice “break” from my facebook/twitter/instagram apps on my phone, and time sitting at my desk.  My husband has been taking his word for 2014 seriously – HUSTLE – and has been getting up and working longer hours than usual, so I’ve had more time alone with the kiddos.  It’s good.  I am glad and proud of him, but it’s also change.  and sometimes I don’t do too well with change at first.  I’m trying to find my “new normal” and schedule this semester – bible study, writing time, early morning jogging time, date night…etc.  so I ask for patience.  This weekend kicks off a very exciting and busy season for me – first up, Noonday Ambassador conference outside Austin, Texas, then the IF gathering in February, Created for Care in March followed by my 10 day  #solehopebloggers trip to Uganda, and two weeks later Hope Spoken!  I have been thankful for this time “away” to rest and prepare my heart for all God is going to do the next 3 months.

Fair warning, I will probably be that person that does the “christmas update”, 2013 review, and my word for 2014 in the coming weeks.  I can’t help it, this space is not only for you, but for me and my family.  It’s a place to record the memories and happenings of life and is somewhat of Camp + Asher’s “baby book”.  Well, that concludes my nap time catch up.  Tomorrow morning I am planning to head to “the office” aka Starbucks and get some real writing done.  Alison just stopped by with my Shine Project “word” bracelet and I hope it inspires me to tell you about what word I have chosen for this year.

Until then, check out this post by my friend Jamie’s husband Aaron on her blog.  The Mom Problem, by Aaron Ivey.

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
