taking stock

_(8-of-9)

my sweet sissy girl looks like she’s “taking stock”.  no, I have several friends who have done this sort of thing on their blogs before and I thought it would be sorta fun and fresh, so I’m giving it a try.  here’s whats going on in my head and heart right now.

Making : my living room be more of a sanctuary

Cooking : things with basil, summer come on!

Drinking : topo chico in a bottle with lime

Reading: Isaiah, Psalm 107, Notes from a Blue Bike
Wanting: this nice weather to stay forever
Looking: for the perfect pillows for my church pew on my porch
Playing: outside with the kids
Wasting: time thinking about painting my living room instead of actually painting it
Trusting: that god’s timing is perfect, and my recent scars are not in vain
Wishing: just one month I would actually get a positive pregnancy test
Enjoying: spring nights, walks to the park, sitting on the porch with the glow of my solar lights
Waiting: always waiting, for baby
Liking: my wednesday lazy days at home with the kids
Wondering: what the heck god is up to in our lives right now
Loving: the revolving door that has been my house this week, love having friends in and out
Hoping: that god will heal me, physically and spiritually
Marveling: at his goodness and the people he’s put in my path for such a time as this
Needing: some space to write, to reflect, to process
Anticipating: the summertime, down time with the family, and a really fun trip I’ll finally be able to reveal in the coming weeks
Contemplating: the future
Smelling: the last bag of my ethiopian coffee beans [someone help!]
Wearing: flowy skirts and dresses, thank you elastic waistband
Following: more friends on bloglovin’
Noticing: my friends gifts and the way they love people
Knowing: the truth, that god has set me free
Thinking: about what this life has in store for us next
Praying: for peace and to be still
Bookmarking: fun ways to update my living space
Opening: birthday cards in the mail still, love it
Giggling: when asher and camp sing “let it go” and then proceed to bow and say “thank you very much” after I clap for them
Feeling: tired.  exhausted.  but very loved.

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
