Welcoming GW Home

Tuesday was a very historical day in our country and a very big day in Midland as well. George W Bush made his way home from the White House after 8 years of service and guess where he came first – Midland, Texas. I obviously haven’t lived here that long but I was SO proud to be a Midlander Tuesday. Eight years ago George and Laura’s last stop on the way to Washington was in Midland where they had a big rally downtown to send them off – and how fitting it was that Midland was the first place they came on the way back to Texas.

It was so neat to be a part of it – there were 30,000 people in Centennial Plaza in downtown Midland today to welcome the Bush’s home. Leading up the their arrival, we heard some great country music by Rodney Adkins, saw the President’s plane do a fly over which was REALLY cool, heard Lee Greenwood sing LIVE “I’m proud to be an American”, and heard some other great country songs about America over the loud speakers. When George and Laura finally arrived, the crowd went crazy. George talked a lot about his Midland roots, and the values he learned from his parents and from growing up in west Texas. He seemed SO glad to be home and so proud to be a Texan. We LOVE GW! I love him because of the strong man of faith and family that he is. He said in his speech that he might not have always done what was popular, but he always did what he thought was right. He was so funny talking about what tomorrow would be like waking up retired – in Crawford!

It was a great moment in history and we are SO glad we could be a part of it!

I have a good video from their entrance but am having trouble creating a youtube account so I can post it! ahhH!!

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

Call me and it might be easier to walk you through it on the phone. Take care.
