So the day before I left for Op Camp, we got the exciting news that the USCIS paperwork we’d been waiting for for almost 8 weeks was complete. It was only exciting to us because we knew that was the last thing we were waiting on to get on the WAIT LIST. I tried to capture the hilarious adventure – going to a 24 hour notary – to get all the paperwork complete to get it ready to be sent off before I left for Camp & before Hope’s wedding. When I got to the house after Stephen called to tell me the paper arrived, I can’t pretend we didn’t do a little dance in the kitchen. We were ECSTATIC!
So we were even MORE EXCITED when we got an email from our Gladney caseworker today telling us as of yesterday, July 11, 2011 we are officially on the wait list!
We wanted to thank you all for your continued support, prayers and encouragement. The next 14 months (give or take) will be all about the wait. I know this will be the hardest part for me in this process so far, not being able to do anything but wait. So please think of us & pray for us every time you wear your Camp shirt. We rely on your prayers so much! Thank you for being a part of this big crazy story. We love you all!
Can’t believe we started this on October 18th & here we are finally on the wait list! Oh what a journey it’s been so far 😉 God is so good!
Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I 100% believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life. I can’t wait to get to know you and your story, and I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.
A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my three kids.
Welcome, come on in!
