photo perspective. {Rwanda week}

My last post (at least for now) about Noel.
I HAD to share the stories of my boys, Justen & Evoriste and their photog skills.

I talked about it a little before, when I told you how I (gasp!) let my boys use my camera!
Well, from day 1 had had quite the assistants.  Since these boys were by my side every second, they became my helpers! Without me even asking.  They carried my bag, helped me get things out of it, and seemed interested in taking photos.
So day 1 I put it around their necks & gave them a few pointers!
they loved it.
then day 2, I let them have at it.
I put my camera on auto & gave them the reigns.
this is HUGE. but I love them & I love seeing the confidence it gave them

I know it built their self esteem, gave them confidence, taught them a skill, and allowed them to express their perspective through the lens of a camera!

The black & white photos below are some of the ones they took!
I love having THEIR perspective.
I am working on an album on facebook of all of them.
It reminded me of 100cameras.
remember when I posted about them?  here!
well, they are getting ready to launch a new venture- that me & Alison might both get to be a part of.
I’m really excited about it 🙂
more on that to come!
the whole reason I got into photography was after I took a “digital photography for ministry” class.
and turns out, that’s still where my heart is
isn’t god cool 🙂

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends

  1. Wow! They take amazing photos. Girl, we need to find a way to have Alison start a class for this while there. Then they can sell their pictures. Great perspective 🙂

  2. Ruthie Hart says:

Wynne I bet you made their days letting them use your camera! What a fulfilling experience on both ends

  3. larisaa says:

  4. KaraM says:
