Happy Easter my friends.
I pray that you are celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ today! Praising Him for the work He did on the cross FOR US, in our place. thanking Him for this GOOD NEWS, that He is alive. and remembering the words of Jesus, ” repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations [Luke 24:48] “As the father has sent me, even I am sending you” [John 20:21], “GO into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation” [Mark 16:15] the good news doesn’t end with us! Jesus comes in peace to his disciples and gives them “the great commission” to “go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of age.” [Matthew 28:19-20]
this good news isn’t just for US. Jesus commands to take it to the ends of the earth. to share this HOPE that we have in Him. according to the Joshua Project there are appox 2.87 billion unreached people in the world. I don’t know about you, but my heart is beating with a little more urgency for them today. Praying for God to send laborers into His harvest field to tell them the good news [Luke 10:2]
