yall know I’m passionate about Africa, orphans and VISITING them.  I desire to invest in their lives long term.

Stephen + I went on our first trip [and more for me] with Visiting Orphans and we absolutely love what they do and who they are.

they send people to 12 countries throughout the year to visit and love on God’s precious children we call orphans.

and they have a new video I think you’d love to check out! [funny that they guy who made our Camp + Asher story, also did this video!]

I love that they talk about their passion to DISCIPLE their team members and how they want their attitude in GOING to be one that in which we humble ourselves, put our own agenda aside and do what needs to be done for that particular community.  The goal is to help and not hurt, and to invest in longterm relationship with the children + ministries they partner with.    As someone who just led a team, I can say yes and amen to that!

it’s about relationship! it’s about using your gifts!  God has given us each a gift + a passion and I gaurentee you He WILL use you and your gift to go love on his children! I really challenge you to PRAY about going on a short term trip.  Ask God for whatever it is you are afraid of – lay it at His feet.  GO BE LOVE.
