This is her – and this picture is earlier in the summer but about something I have talked about briefly before, we have been training together for a half marathon ALL summer together. It has been such a great experience and especially sharing it with one of my favorite friends. She has encouraged, pushed, and encouraged me some more. Running was not ever something I enjoyed doing but I have really enjoyed training and a lot of it has to do with Allison. So BACKTRACK about a month or so….

Allison is PREGGO!!!! We had a little dinner get together at her house and when we had a “nkc meeting” Casey decided to tell us that someone broke the rules….them! Laura and I were obviously in shock – no one had any idea and she was almost 4 months along! She did a really good job of covering it up all summer. We are all SUPER excited for baby Z and for our sweet friends. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that we decided as a group to PRAY for them and their baby everyday at 3pm-it’s so amazing how everyone has gathered around them and embraced their new life stage!!! But you know what this means – no more half marathon, and Allison is so thoughtful that she kept apologizing and Casey even offered to run it with me in her place if no one else was running with me. Gotta love them – but this past weekend she and Casey ran one in Virginia Beach – and finished in great time! I am so jealous that she is done…I still have until November. But so proud of her being so active even during her pregnancy, she is a great example to me!

I love my friend and am so happy for her and her new family 🙂
