After a crazy summer of camp, it was finally time for some family vacation! Our trip actually started in Austin with our good friend Andrew’s wedding but more about that later 🙂 My family graciously invited Stephen & I to come along to Cabo with them for an end of summer trip. Obviously, we were thrilled! We left on Sunday & came back Friday so it was a good long week laying by the pool, reading, eating (a lot!) and spending time together.

The trip started in DFW when Stephen’s passport was expired & he didn’t get to come with us the first day 🙁 It was so sad! But he has the best attitude of anyone I know and he knew that there was a reason he wasn’t supposed to go that day & sure enough he had a very effective, fun & productive day in Dallas Sunday!

The week really was fun – we spent some good time with the family hanging at the house, getting in the hot tub every day, reading by the pool, going to the Sheridan, eating lunch at fancy resorts (with the infamous $35 belleni – we did NOT know!), game night, driving in the swagger waggon, fun show at The Office, pina coladas, lots of laying out & all around good time!

It was super fun too because one of my friends from Baylor was getting married at the resort that next weekend & so I got to see some of my Baylor friends that I haven’t seen in a while! I was especially excited to see one of my all time best friends, Brynn & her hubby Ashton! They even got to share some VERY exciting news with us in person which was so much fun. We are so excited about baby g!

We met some friends on the plane that we ended up hanging out with some – Mark & Brooke! They were so cute & he played baseball at Baylor and so automatically I liked him! Mark went golfing with the guys & him and Stephen even got up early one day and spent 8 hours on on open sea fishing. They caught some pretty big fish! Then they came with us to The Office one night & we also ran into the wedding gang – it really is such a small world!
