good team.

I have LOVED spending so much time with my husband this spring.

it started with our trip to california – our babymoon. we went to catalyst, we rented a convertible and cruised down the Pacific Coast Highway with the top down, we ate lots of yummy food, we explored new places, we drank good coffee, we had an amazing birthday dinner right off the ocean in Newport Beach…we just enjoyed each others company.

We also got to catch up with some good friends in San Diego, go to their church, see their home, go to lunch with them and it was a blessing – thanks jana + matt and dana + joel!  
Then we got to meet up with his whole family in Austin for Lara + Tim’s wedding…
the place they had their wedding was sort of where all this crazy adoption stuff started following us around, so that was special.  Just really great time with his family! (and when we found out we were submitted to court!) 
then I surprised him for Fathers day & took us on a little weekend getaway to Ruidoso!
we went through Jimmy Evans “Marraige on the Rock” workbook and it was a great vision reatreat for us.  great time to get away, to have some great conversations, good food, no distractions – just be a couple.
and honestly I can say I fell in love with him all over again.
we spent one night at dinner just encouraging and affirming each other and it was such a sweet time.
I really encourage married couples to take the time to do this — to set goals and give vision to your family!
and now I can’t wait for the BIGGEST adventure yet!!
