friends!  Are you still here?  I’m doing good at this blog-once-a-month thing and I’m back again for my yearly post to tell you about ALL THE AMAZING WAYS you can purchase some goodies that GIVE this holiday season. #giftsthatgiveback !!  You know I’m all about purchasing items that give back, are fair trade, one for one, and support artisans worldwide.  I’ve found some amazing new companies this month thanks to fellow Noonday ambassadors, and linked my faves in my pinterest board.  

but back to you matter and my beloved NOONDAY! I had SO MUCH FUN yesterday at #‎thehavenbcs with Jessica Mayfield Honegger and my fellow local Noonday Collection ambassadors Lindsey + Andrea. every time I’m with these girls, and I hear the stories (that I’ve heard a thousand times) I STILL get pumped up and passionate.  Noonday really is creating a flourishing world where children are cherished, women are empowered, people have jobs and we are connected.  I love the idea of a physical gathering, and I wish ALL of you could come and gather at my space in downtown Bryan.  Days like yesterday remind me how much I love inviting all the people I know to one room and seeing what kind of amazing connections and friendships are birthed or re-visited.  Always blows me away, every time.  But if you can’t make it to a physical trunk show, you can always shop online! (perk!)

So I’m about to let y’all in on a BIG GOAL of mine. I’m about 80 orders away from being able to qualify to go on (my first ever!) artisan trip with other ambassadors this summer!  I’ve been so blessed to go and meet our artisans in Uganda, Ethiopia + Rwanda on specific assignments or photography jobs over the years but have never gotten to go with other ambassadors and I didn’t even know it was a possibility for me until last week!  This is where I put my FEAR aside, and step out in faith.  and I need your help! 

I became a Noonday ambassador 4.5 years ago when I met Jessica + her hubby at Together for Adoption in Austin and FELL IN LOVE with all the beautiful accessories, but more than that I fell in love with the STORY. Our artisan partners are WHY I noonday. I love connecting friends with their beautiful work and encouraging people in how POWERFUL their purchases are. We have such an opportunity to empower women, help children go to school, and give people jobs all through PURCHASING from Noonday! Your purchases MATTER and there’s not a better gift to give this Christmas season that doesn’t bring joy to the receiver (and giver!) and to a woman in Uganda, like Jalia!, who was able to send her kids to school this year because of your purchases. YOU MATTER!!
