oh friends. I wish I could have taken you along with me these past few weeks – to the mountains of Colorado, and the streets of Salt Lake City.  The Lord truly spoke to me both on the trail, and in the convention center – He spoke to me about my becoming, and my belonging.  A deep desire of my heart is to have a space + a people to BELONG to and I found that with both my church girls on the trail, and my fellow boss babes in the city.  my deep desire is to empower ALL OF US who desire this to find it.  to pray for it, to believe for it, to BE IT for others. I can tell you one thing: nothing will happen if YOU don’t make the effort.  put yourself out there, get out of your comfort zone, say YES to “scary”experiences that force you to grow.  THIS is where the real growth is!!!!

for me this has happened mightily in my young living business.  these are some words I’ve been using to describe the community I’m apart of….

I literally wouldn’t have understood (this YL biz) a few years ago, I would have looked at you like you were so strange, but now I GET IT.  It’s in the stretching, the goal setting, the hard work, the grit, the grace – that I am becoming.  I am becoming stronger, more free, more generous, more brave…I am for sure a better mom, sister, wife, friend, daughter.  It has taken a lot of hard work and grit, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

and we freaking have FUN.  I mean, the pictures say it all but this group of women is truly more than I ever imagined.  just think about what it would FEEL LIKE to be in a room of like minded women who were passionate about the same things you are.  this space is one of belonging, and celebrating each others gifts – and our week together in Salt Lake City was magic.  It felt a little like summer camp: and there were tears when we left.  Can’t wait to be gathered in the same city with all my favorites again next summer.  and I WANT YOU THERE WITH US!!!!!

the thing is, this is NOT JUST FOR ME.  it is for anyone who wants it!  it’s for you, stay at home mama who longs for community.  and for you, full time working parent who wants more time with your kids.  it’s for you full time missionary, raising support.  it’s for you longing mama who’s in the process of adopting.  this is literally for anyone and everyone who WANTS it.  I promise you that none of us started this 100% confident that we would succeed, but it’s in the growing and becoming that we start to BELIEVE, and that belief is everything.  it’s sorta like that feeling after you run a half marathon or summit a 13,000ft mountain…..you feel strong, you feel like you can do ANYTHING, and like anything is possible.

and let me tell you, IT IS!  don’t let me just inspire you.  let me inspire you to ACTION.  I would completely adore to walk with you through this process, and help you start your own journey of becoming.  and give you a place to BELONG. our team is growing fast, and we would love nothing more than for YOU to join us!
