Let’s talk about a morning routine! Do you have one / do you want one? Do you understand how valuable they are?
“Habits free up our mental space so we can focus”
The Joy Of Missing out, Tanya Dalton
I am the first to admit that I both love a routine, and feel trapped by it. But my amazing health coach, Sherilyn taught and encouraged me in this area several years ago. She truly convinced me to have one when she said, “establishing morning routines allows our minds to take a rest. It leaves room for creative space, increases productivity, frees up time.” Um, yes please.
We started by intentionally writing down everything I wanted in my morning routine.
In my dream world, I get up before the kids, drink a cup of coffee, read my bible + journal in peace, have breakfast with the lights on in the kitchen + diffuser, and worship music going. Also, the laundry is going in the wash, and I’m getting ready to move my body. ❤️ A girl can dream, and a girl can work to establish some semblance of that ideal routine in my days NOW.
Every season looks different with a morning routine, but the point is to HAVE ONE.
I want to know, what’s on your ideal morning routine list?
If you aren’t convinced yet, let me share a few more reasons WHY this is important: 👉🏼👉🏼
- Prioritizes self-care
- Makes us more efficient
- Reduces the need to plan
- Creates structure
- Saves time
- Instills good + healthy habits
- Builds momentum for the rest of the day
- Builds self-confidence
At the beginning of a new morning routine, I have to write out the steps. But the point of it is, once you get in a rhythm you don’t even have to think about what you do, because it’s routine. Then with all that cleared up mind space, you can focus on things that truly matter!

Hey, I'm Wynne!
Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life. I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.
A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!
