This past weekend Stephen and I were off again this weekend to Waco for a shower then Dallas for the Whiterock Marathon relay! Waco started off Friday night dinner at George’s with MH and Nick – we had a good time catching up with them. Saturday I helped host a wedding shower for my sweet friend Lacie! Lacie and I met our senior year in high school at youth group and were instant friends! We stayed friends through college even though she was at Tech and I was at Baylor- mostly because we shared the love of college baseball! Not really -but that did help in seeing each other as her brother played for Baylor and I made the trip once to Lubbock for the Baylor/tech series. I love her family and am excited for this new phase in her life!
The hostesses!
Lacie – the Bride!
Lacie’s High School friends
Tech friends
I had a great time catching up with old high school friends (even though I was the only non-Midway girl) and meeting some of Lacie’s Texas Tech friends. I had this fun West Texas connection with them and I Love that! Living in Midland is like a whole new world to me – a whole new group of people! For those of you who know me well know that I love people and am very energized by them! I was happy to make some new friends!
why is it underlined?
I was so sad to miss my sweet friend Alli’s baby shower Saturday but was SO EXCITED to hear the baby name after Lacie’s shower. I can’t wait to meet Grayson!!
Hey, I'm Wynne!
Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life. I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.
A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!
I remember meeting/seeing Lacie at a cute stationary store in Houston. I totally went up to her in as not stalker-ish way as possible and told her that I recognized her from your pictures! hahah She’s precious!
that is so funny! yes she used to work at a cute place like that in houston! I felt like a stalker this weekend at the race, I ran into at least 4 people (that I know, but still) and blurted out “i read your blog!” haha
