Pioneer Woman has a great “what the heck” section on aperture & shutter speed – she says it in a way that is easier to understand
Each week in my photography class we were supposed to mess with all of things week by week & although I did learn, I am learning MORE. It’s constant. There are so many great resources out there & I love to practice, practice, practice. If you have a “big girl camera” and don’t know the first thing about shooting off of “auto mode” I encourage you to step out & try it! See if your local community college has a photography class, or maybe your church š Check out these tutorials & start practicing.

I hope you don’t mind I fill your google reader with this sort of thing. It’s sort of where I am right now – really loving to learn & practice and develop my photographic style š I am so in love and passionate about photography right now & I hope it continues to grow.

All: yes!
There ya have it folks. Ha – in the words of children! They see my passion!
I am in an interesting place right now – just trying to be where I am & not look to the future. Deuteronomy 29:29 basically says that “secret things belong to god” and secret things are things of the future. I have no idea what the Lord is working out in my life right now, but after this weekend I feel more passionate about my “long term goal” {which, by the way has DRASTICALLY changed from what my lifetime goal has always been} of being a mommy and maybe one day a photographer š What I would love the most is not having to do it for $ and just doing it for fun/ministry. But, again – who knows what the Lord has in store for me!
I am just going to keep pressing on – learning, learning, learning!
This coming week I am going to get some good practice – I have a few great ministry opportunities! Taking pictures at eTeen CBS on Monday night, hopefully taking pictures next Sunday night at church for baptism & baby dedication and then also taking pictures of CAKE BALLS for my friend Leslie’s cake ball company here in town. I”ll keep you posted with links to her website š
