the little things.

it is so hard to believe that we have been home for two weeks.
that we are in the swing of pediatricians office, physical therapy evaluations, and amoxocilin.
late nights, early mornings, afternoon walks, morning snuggle time, ba-ba time
all things that we call our every day.

god has fully redeemed our children.
he has SET the lonely in OUR family.
and it’s an honor and joy to have them.  in. our. family.

every day during lunch time (the only meal I have them both alone – Stephen is here for breakfast & dinner) I pray with the kids.
we pray for whoever God lays on our hearts – and today we prayed for family.
and we thanked Him for putting THEM in our family.
we prayed for their future.
we prayed they would come to know Jesus at a young age,
we prayed they will be world changers,
we prayed they will have a passion for the lost,
we prayed they will be a light for the nations.
we prayed for full restoration.

every night during our final bottle time we pray for the same things.
god loves it when we talk to Him about our children, His children.

today I guess I’m just extra thankful.
for the little things, for the every day.
for getting to do life with my best friend & husband
and for getting to raise these sweet babies in the way they should go

I’m praying for time to get to sit down & recap our trip to Ethiopia and trip home – so be on the lookout for that.  in the meantime, I’m just trying to enjoy every moment with the beautiful children that God has placed in our care.  trying to figure out the mom thing (which, by the way is no joke!) and meeting camp + ashers every need.

thank you for loving us so well + being patient with this new mommy of 2!

and what’s a post without pictures??

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
