a little free fun.

well this weekend my husband was outta town + I put myself on a spending fast – which meant lots of opportunity for free fun

I just want to say, that you really can have fun for free!  I was dreading this weekend at home alone without my man, and without my debit card, but we survived!  thanks to awesome community + fun ideas from pinterest + my insta store.

Jenna + crew had us over for dinner friday night.  why not bring an assortment of random beer from the outdoor fridge + a bottle of wine I already had open? not to mention we were both in our workout clothes still + greasy hair.  a sweet night with friends in their precious cul-de-sac street.  oh, and she made this.  thank you pinterest.

Jacci spoiled us and brought me + the kids coffee and donuts on Saturday morning.  I love sitting around the kitchen talking about Jesus + family with my neighbors.

I organized my husbands closet.  yep.  I can’t wait for him to see it.  now it doesn’t seem like he has “nothing to wear”.  i heart organizing.

after!

I also [while on my “spending fast” frenzie friday night] picked out even MORE things that I actually really love, but let’s face it do not need and got them ready for a lilliesofthefield insta sale.   always love to clean out + make space.

I found this super cute thing for kids on pinterest + we had some bathtub fun saturday night.

I got a little crafty + made a “menu” for my pantry organization with an old frame and scrapbook paper I already had 😉

got my creative juices flowing with beth’s snail mail project + made a worship cd and paired it with a post card I had in my stach.

you can also hang on your front porch + go through old journals and start to write out your story….a sweet reminder of gods faithfulness!

so that proves it.  you CAN have fun at home when you are trying to not spend any money.  it was fun to get creative.  in fact, this is so fun I want to see how long I can go 🙂

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
