Happy Baylor Homecoming!

Baylor Homecoming has a very special place in my heart.  It’s tradition, its 30 years of memories, it’s family.  If you saw me last week, in anticipation for this fun event, I would have expressed how excited I was by telling you this weekend comes only after Christmas + 4th of July.  My favorite weekends all year.  Christmas, obviously, is special because we are celebrating Jesus birth and are surrounded by family.  We get into the spirit of the season, the spirit of giving, and celebrating all Jesus has done.  I get to celebrate July 4th at my favorite place in North America with my favorite people.  It’s not so much that we are celebrating America, which I do get all nostalgic about that, but it’s again about the people.  the traditions.  the boat parade, the flags, the same song blaring on the radio as we all sway our hands: the tradition.   Baylor Homecoming is the same.  It’s all about tradition + being with the people I love.  Friday night pigskin, bonfire + Georges, followed by Parade + Pi phi event Saturday morning, then tailgating and the football game.  It’s the same every year.  I know what to expect, when to expect it and it is highly anticipated.  I get to be with my family, and this year Camp + Asher were thrown in the mix.  I get to see old friends from my college days, ohh and aww over their kids and hug their necks.  I also get to spend time with my best friends from JH/high school who also went to Baylor – double special.  We stand in the same place for bonfire + parade each year, sit in the same seats for pigskin, and make the same tailgate rounds year after year.

I love tradition.  I love knowing what to expect.  and I love the anticipation!

So much of life is not expected, but still anticipated.  In my current season, I don’t know what to expect but I am anticipating what God has in store next.  and that always gets me excited!

enjoy the pictures!

Hey, I'm Wynne!

Hi, friend! First, I truly am so giddy that you are here. I want you to know I believe in you and all the ways you are growing towards living a more intentional life.  I genuinely hope you are encouraged from our time together here.

A little about me, I’m a type 7 on the enneagram, a total extrovert + people lover, entrepreneur, connector, storyteller, people gatherer, and passionate wife, mama + friend. I feel most alive when I’m exploring new places and surrounded by people I love. Give me a day in the outdoors disconnected from wifi, and I am a happy girl. I run on oat milk lattes, Jesus, gratitude journaling and kitchen dance parties with my four kids.
Welcome, come on in!

let'e be friends
